Prisoner Review by Cher Fan Club
Prisoner, released on October 22, 1979, is Cher's 17th studio album. This album, a follow-up to her disco-infused "Take Me Home," continues to embrace the disco sound, while also exploring pop and rock influences. Prisoner includes a mix of original tracks and covers, showcasing Cher's versatility as an artist. Although it didn't achieve the same level of commercial success as "Take Me Home," it remains an important part of her diverse discography.
